The first memory of my life
The first thing I can recall in my life in the memory that I can think of is :
I think I was 3 or 4, while I walk from my home to visit my auntie for the typical Chinese New Year visit. I walked close to the Kai Tak Airport and watch the planes take off and landed; and I took a bag of oranges nicely wrapped with a red paper on top signifying Chinese New Year happiness.
This scene came in my mind many times in my life and never goes away. This must be the first thing I can remember in my life.
Expert said we have better memory cast in our brain if a strong emotional impact is associated. I think I must be super happy to take the role of being an adult carrying a New Year's Gift to my auntie in our visit. And the sight of an aeroplane might also add to the strong memory that was cast and remaining in my brain for over 68 years.
