We don't have a switch to switch off our anxious brain

I have been advising and counseling all my friends with emotional problems.  And thought I know life through and through and can lead myself through without difficulties.

In fact it has not. Since childhood I know I inherited my parents' anxiety anticipatory neurosis. Worrying everything ahead of me.

This is life. That is inevitable.

Telling myself to stop thinking about it, telling myself to release it and lay it down .... In fact not as easy as you say.  We don't have a switch in our forehead that we can switch off our brain which is busily thinking.

Anyway that is life and I must move on.

I know it will be through.
